Political Flip Flops

The word flip flop is often used in politics. Usually it is used to refer to a politician that has changed his point of view or his vote on a subject.

Today flip flop is in the news in a different way.

Apparently President Obama wore flip flops to get a snow cone with his daughters while on vacation. This became a news worthy item that included a quote about seeing the presidents toes for the first time.

Seriously! Our schools are suffering, our seniors are terrified of losing their Medicare and we are in the midst of a national financial crisis and we are talking about Obamas toes?

Let’s all be more concerned about Obamas focus and not his flip flops.
