We are still hanging out down under and having a different adventure every day. Ashley has been with her host family for two days now. Turns out her host dad is a chef. They having gourmet meals and desserts every night so she may be sad when she returns to the U.S. and the land of fish sticks and mac and cheese. Yesterday we spent the day with the kids at the Queen Victoria Mall which is the most beautiful mall in the world. They had beautiful ornate clocks that were like watching a show that chimed every hour. We performed on the top level and the kids soon drew a large crowd. It was such a great moment seeing all the attention and compliments from the Aussies. Everywhere we have gone from the hotel to our performances the kids have gotten rave reviews on their behavior and conduct. They are a great group of kids and when we have to say good-bye at the end of the day to send them back to their “families” I must admit that I miss them.

Today we are getting the performance attire steamed and ready for our next two days of performing. The kids are attending school with their host kids and the text we have gotten so far are that it is “very cool”!!! We will meet up with them tomorrow for another performance at a performing arts academy and to tour a sheep fair and have an Aussie bar-b-que with the kids. Steve is trying to tell me that we are having kangaroo but I hope it is just steak. They wouldn’t take you to feed them one day and eat them the next, would they?
