After conquering the cupcake wars of Washington, Ashley and I settled into our room at the Georgetown Inn.  Lovely room with a lovely view of all kinds of shops to explore. Just seeing the Lacoste sign made me giddy.  Some people like a view of the sunset, not me.  Give me the glow of a retail sign any day of the week.

I will have to admit I was a tad bit nervous about taping the next day.  But after reminding myself that I had humiliated myself on television (it involved an episode of Oprah: After The Show and a pantyliner) before I figured that I certainly couldn’t do any worse tomorrow.

We arrived at the studio extremely early due to me traveling with my Type A personality daughter.
